I've recently completed my PJ project and I thought you all might like to see pics. I know I always like to see other folks pics.

Projector is an MKIV-based design (15" LCD, vertical orientation, 330/330 fresnel lenses, 250 Watt MH lamp kit, and the triplet-135 lense).

The projected image is 80" wide and shown on a Da-Lite matte white screen in a pitch black basement.

All PJ materials purchased here at DIY Projector Company.

If you are interested in more pics... I have a site here

That is one of the nicest designed projectors I have seen and the results are awesome! Great Job!

I officially dub this the "Monster Projector".

Great job! I love the look of it.

Thanks for the praise. I'm pleased with the results... although I haven't let it run for a full-length feature yet.

Sharidan,
Thread renamed in your honor. Wink

Moger, that looks awesome! Are those ducts on the side for cooling?

Yup.

The enclosure is divided into 3 sections. The ducts are for the upper-most section: one is an in-flow, one is an out-flow. The reason for the ducts is to redirect any leakage towards the back (seating is forwrd of the projector).

The projector sits in a "well" so while the lower fans leak light, it does not interfere with the forward seating or the projection.

Yessir.

The MAME cabinet was a project back in Summer 2001. Still works... my nieces & nephews love it. It only plays the "good" games (circa 1981). Hehehe. That's when gaming was fun. Although every once in a while a good frag is fun too.

That almost looks like a 350 Chevy Small Block!!! Shocked Do you have NOS hooked up to it too?

That is one nice looking PJ, you should be proud. I swear it looks like it could take off at any moment.

Nice Work! Wink

P.S.

How about a peak under the hood???
