SV-11 Projector Instructions
Step 6: Final Assembly

To summarize our progress thus far, we have created a partial projector enclosure, installed and wired the light source, mounted the LCD to the LCD tray, and mounted our projection lens. Now it's time to put these few pieces together, and button up the projector so that we can use it. This is really a breeze - you will slide the glass and lenses into the mounting rails, slide the LCD tray with LCD into its mounting rails, install the front MDF panel with Lens mounted, and fasten the top MDF panel on the projector.

Above: Inserting the glass-fresnel-glass combination into the aluminum rails. It is a good idea to use your thicker piece of glass towards the front of the projector.

Above: Inserting the LCD tray and LCD into the 2nd set of rails (LCD not shown here for simplicity)

Above: The front MDF panel is screwed-in so that it is flush with the front of the projector. If you have a particularly long throw distance, then you may want to mount the front panel recessed about 1/2-1 inch into the projector instead.
